Born in Bombay and raised in New Delhi, India, Blaison grew up learning several languages and is fluent in Hindi, Malayalam and English. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Delhi University, Blaison forged a successful career in the IT industry where he also taught many IT training courses on the side. But the qualities that tend to strike you first about this "Techie" who's also fluent in many computer languages, are his warm smile and friendly nature. Had you known about his extensive background as a software developer, you might have anticipated a different demeanor, more in line with the analytical stereotypes that often accompany programmers. While Blaison's computer savvy took him across the globe and eventually landed him in the Bay area, truth be told, he'd rather spend his time meeting people. While he enjoyed much success in the IT sector, he discovered what really motivated him was developing relationships with people.

On the Move

If you want to see Blaison's eyes light up, just mention anything related to sports and fitness. In India, he played cricket and a variety of varsity sports, and today, he continues to push himself athletically, has become known among his friends as a "nutrition guru." By working out routinely at his gym and playing volleyball on the weekends, Blaison finds exercising a great way to relax and relieve stress. "I'm a firm believer in the body fueling the mind," he says. He earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 16 and continues to practice the martial arts and yoga in order to hone his mental stamina, recharge his batteries and achieve a sense of clarity in his busy life. He and his wife, Pamela, also enjoy watching movies and taking walks through their neighborhood.
